Registered Nurses (RGN’S)

Staff nurses provide the bulk of the backbone of the NHS and are an irreplaceable and invaluable body of workers. Equally, it is also staff nurses that often provide leadership and care in our nursing and residential homes, ensuring our elderly population is receiving the high quality and dignified care that they deserve.

Providing a consistently high level of work performance in what is often a stressful environment can be difficult, and that’s why we like to remunerate our staff accordingly and ensure they feel appreciated and valued for their contribution. We undertake regular supervisions to ensure our nurses are working to their best of their abilities and in a safe way. We also use this time to discuss any issues, concerns, or grievances our nurses may have so that we can cultivate an open and honest working environment for all.

Our compliance team work diligently to ensure our nurses comply with regulation at both a local and a national level, as well as keeping abreast of changes to regulation that may affect their work, and ensuring this information is suitably disseminated to the appropriate parties. Training and compliance is monitored using advanced computer software to ensure a complete and accurate database of information can be kept. Each of our nurses has a unique personal profile outlining their skills, competencies, and experience that is shared with our Clients for their peace of mind.

Our Staff Nurse Services include:

Care/Nursing Homes

Registered general nurses (RGN) and registered mental health nurses (RMN) for care and nursing home services. Our nurses are compassionate, trained in dementia care and falls training, and competent to undertake a leadership role when necessary.

Medicat understands that nursing home residents appreciate consistency in their care, so where possible we endeavour to provide the same nurse or healthcare assistant, to provide continuity to both our Clients and their residents.

Community Hospitals, Minor Injuries & Urgent Care

At Medicat, we chose to remain independent by declining placement as an awarded supplier for the NHS CPP National Clinical Staffing Framework, yet continue to be a primary supplier within the South West through our ability to meet our Clients’ needs with professionalism, quality, and economic viability. For many of our NHS clients, we are their Plan B for when the framework cannot provide.

GP Practices and Treatment Room

Practice nurses, phlebotomists, prescribing advanced nurse practitioners.
